We are an established group practice caring for women throughout the Manawatu region. We believe in pregnancy and birth as a normal life event and that midwives are trained to support women and their families during the transition to parenthood. We refer to specialists and other providers when women have needs outside our scope. Our group has a strong support structure which enables our midwives to provide optimum care in the safest possible way.

Our Services
We are a group of independent midwives providing lead maternity care to women throughout pregnancy, labour and birth, and up to 4-6 weeks postnatally.
The geographic area we cover includes:
- Palmerston North
- Feilding
- Marton
- Bulls
- Sanson
- Himatangi
- Ashhurst
- Woodville
Our care is provided free of charge in accordance with Section 88 (the Ministry of Health document specifying maternity service rules and payments).
Our range of services include:
- free pregnancy tests
- pregnancy care with appointments at our clinic rooms, or at your home in exceptional circumstances
- labour and birth care at home or in the hospital
- waterbirths
- postnatal care for mother and baby at home, or another location by arrangement
- referral to other providers, such as obstetricians, when necessary
- prescribe medications for typical pregnancy-related concerns
- contraception advice
- midwifery-specific acupuncture (we charge a small fee for this service)
It is always difficult phoning midwives to see if they are available, only to find they are fully booked for that month. To make things easier we have a listing indicating the availability of midwives within our group practice.
